Age Requirements: Travel Cafe escorted tours are best suited for people aged 18-75+ with good mobility (being able to walk 2km with reasonable ease). Please discuss any concerns with us, and we will do our best to accommodate you. 

Payment Method: By credit card or bank transfer. A deposit of 50% is required to secure your spot, with the 50% balance payable 3 months before arrival.

DAY 1: WINDHOEK

Welcome to Namibia! After meeting your guide, you will start with 1 night stay in this small capital city which is Windhoek to relax after your long-haul flight.

DAY 2 - 5: SOSSUSVLEI 

Next up is a 3-night stay in Sossusvlei in the Sesriem desert :

1. Accommodation in a beautiful lodge with a magnificent view of the surround desert landscape

2. Sundowner drive to explore the area

3. Full day visit to iconic Dune 45 and Deadvlei (the ultimate postcard-location in Namibia)

4. Optional: Hot air balloon flight at extra cost to see the dunes from the sky. If not interested, you will be relaxing at the lodge

DAY 5 - 7: SWAKOPMUND

From Sossusvlei, we will continue towards Swakopmund for a 2-night  stay in this sea-side Germanic town.

1. Boutique hotel close to the sea

2. Full day to explore the area including a guided tour of the living desert to discover all the animal living here, and a 4x4 dune drive. This tour will take your breath away, combining the views with the excitement of the dune drive.

- The morning will be spent tracking amazing desert animals. You'll track chameleons, snakes, skinks, scorpions, lizards, geckos, and other small creatures, and learn more about the desert ecology of the region.

- In the afternoon, you'll pass by the Walvis Bay lagoon with its abundant birdlife, then cross some of the highest dunes in the Namib, before being amazed by the beauty of where the dunes meet the ocean at Sandwich Harbour.

DAY 7 - 9: DAMARALAND

From Swakopmund, we will continue up North towards the Damaraland region, where you can admire the volcanic landscape and its incredible geological formations.

Full day visit to see:

1. Enjoy a safari game drive in search of the special desert-adapted elephants and rhinos of this region
   
2. Learn more about the unique rock engravings and petroglyphs of Damaraland at its UNESCO World Heritage Site
   
3. Visit the Damara Living Museum to understand the beautiful rituals and culture of this areas' people

DAY 9 - 12: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

Finish your Namibian adventure with an undisputed highlighted as you visit the Etosha National Park for 3 nights.

Here you can look forward to:

1. Authentic bush experience

2. Two full days safari game drives in 4x4 with a ranger

3. Marvel at the wildlife roaming free around you, including the Big 5: Lions 🦁 Leopards 🐆 Rhinos 🦏Elephants 🐘 Buffalos 🐃
