Cape Town is surrounded by a towering chain of mountains which makes for spectacular walks and hikes. The most popular hike by far is Lion's Head, which is especially memorable at sunrise or sunset. This is closely followed by a walk to the top of Table Mountain. 

But while there are few ways more special to get an eagle-eye view of the Mother City, safety should always come first and we highly recommend exploring the city's mountains with a specialist guide.
